This tank bag seems to be the perfect size for my needs. I can use it for simple commuting, throw my phone, wallet, and change in there, or fill it with practical things for distance riding like food, bottled water, tools, flashlight, etc. it's not too bulky to take on my more aggressive riding excursions either though. The rain cover is very convenient, as are all the pockets. The spot for phone or mp3 can't fit an iPhone with an Otterbox on it though. Very happy overall, never leave without it.

The main zipper on the tank bag broke after two months. Since then it has been another two months, and a product that has a lifetime warranty has still not been replaced.
I would rate this a 5 if the zipper held together, and they honored their warranty policy. It was perfect and exactly what I needed for the first two months. Now it is worthless.
very nice bag, lots of small zipper compartments for all the little things, lots of inside room and roomy side pockets, small wings with strong magnets that dont move once you put it on your tank,a feature i really like is it converts to a backpack...just take off tank, fold in magnet wings, add strap and wear on back so no carrying it,only thing i didnt like are the clips for the backpack straps, hard to get on and real hard to take off,2 front eyelets also ride on the tank, dont like something rattling on my paint so i removed the eyelets and use the straps that held them on,works alot better and very easy to remove
The design of the bag is OK unless you like to look at maps through the clear plastic on the top of the bag. The way it was designed was a small zipper on the side which does not ope up the full length of the top of the bag making it difficult to put a map in the space. I don't know why they didn't put the zipper the full length? Otherwise, the bag is nice especially if you have a IPOD which enables the cables to go through a small hole in the bag. Too bad, it could have been a excellent bag other than the map flaw.
i bought this since i use my bike as my main transportation and sometimes everything cant fit in my backpack. very useful and has enough room inside. strong magnets so i dont have to worry about it fall off either even at higher speeds
