Worked out perfect!

Direct plug and play for my 2000 SV-650's wiring harness. Paired up the DMP turn signals and made a good solid connection. Perfect for the price!

Not happy at all with these. First of all, see the picture...that's about how long they are! The left side rear was stretched to connect and the right side wasn't even close so I still had to use some wire from the take-offs to splice together to get more length. Just get Yourself some electrical supplies and do it without buying these.

A: For most applications yes this is a direct plug in. Some models do have different connectors and in that case you will have to splice this in.

Q: Are these needed for 2008 SV650?

Are these needed if replacing the stock signals on a 2008 SV650 with DMP LED turn signals?

A: No, these certainly aren't needed for changing to LEDs on your bike. However, these will make the conversion a little bit easier for you as it essentially changes your OEM wiring (which has "different" connectors) to LED style connectors (that consist of a generic style butt-connectors intended to be used with all aftermarket LED signals). These "signal-harnesses" more-or-less just take the guesswork and hassle out of having to change the conectors on your own.

A: They are not NEEDED, you can splice the stock harness, but this will make it a direct plug and play.
