Worthy product

Purchased the three level ignition map switch for my2014 ktm350 SXF. The instruction were clear and it only took a hour or to install. The bike fired right up and switch worked great. They could have made a mark on the middle setting so when riding it would easier to see that you have moved to mild sitting while on the fly. But you could do that your self with a marker. If you trail ride terrain that has wide variety or like ajustments , this switch is a good choice.

I bought this switch to replace a broken one. The old switch that I had was not a trail tech. The trail tech switch was easy to install. This switch seems to fit better than the first one I had. It does not rotate and the kill switch button is easy to find. The switch between settings is also easy to do while riding
As for how it performers. It is a very easy way to gain some power when you need it and back off when not needed.

Stock Map is not Stock

This switch has three modes mild, stock, and wild. On the mild setting the bike seems pretty slow and like it is not good for the bike to run it this way. I felt the same way about the Wild setting. I didn't trust the load it was putting on the engine. The main reason I didn't trust it was because when the switch is in the stock setting it does not ride the same as the actual "stock" electronics like if the switch were removed. The stock setting is not like stock. I was afraid it would hurt my bike. Instead I got "Wild" chip from KTM that you can install under the seat.
