I bought size 12. They feel more like an 11.5. VERY VERY snug. Hopefully going to wear in a little and expand. Similar fit and feel to a snowboarding boot.

Look good, feel good, price was right!
My shoe size is a 14D. These boots are a bit on the tight side in the ankle area.
The strap over the foot is a bit on the short side. Apparently the strap on the small boot is the same on the largest. I did request from Thor a longer bottom strap. I can barely engage the bottom ratchet. If Thor made the straps longer the user could trim them to length
These were the first boots I've bought, and they're great. When I first got them, I was a bit worried because they were so stiff that I might not be able to shift, but after a few days of walking around the house in them they fit just fine. Just listen, if you're new to riding a ATV, Dirtbike, street bike, or whatever....get these boots, they are really good for first time riders. They adjust really easy to where you can even where two pairs of socks. They are comfortable, durable, and have a great appearance. I'd recommend these to anyone. Forget 5 stars, I'd give em' 10 stars!!!
I bought these boots with high expectations after reading all the reviews on them. Although they are comfortable and fit great, i am very displeased with the durability of them. My first time wearing them, within two hours, the bottom strap completely ripped off from its seem, a big chunk of rubber is missing from just kick starting my bike. After multiple rides, both metal toe protectors are gone.
If you are buying on a budget, these might work. But if you are looking to purchase boots that will last more than one riding season, spend the extra money on better quality boots. With that being said, i will never purchase another pair of Thor boots.
Thor has given us a great budget boot. The ratchet strap technology is really cool, and performs great. What's nice is all the parts and pieces to replace or fix the straps are available to purchase. I'm a 10.5 and I bought an 11. Glad I did. After breaking the boots in, they fit comfortably, and perform great on the bike. Easy to shift and brake. You've found the boot you're looking for.
I wear size 10.5 shoes so I ordered the size 11 boots. The boots I received fit well but I had a lot of trouble buckling the lower strap. It was just too short and way too tight when buckled. I returned the size 11 boots and ordered a size 12. The size 12 boots fit a lot better and I can buckle the lower strap with ease and it is not too tight when buckled. The boots are also very stiff when new. I havent broken my pair in yet and I hope that they dont take long to break in. Out of the box, the are so stiff that they actually hurt to wear. The boots are quite rugged. Maybe too much so. If these break in well, I think they will be good, tough boots. If they dont break in well, I dont think I will be able to use them. I have tried on comparable boots from other manufacturers and they were a lot more comfortable out of the box than the Thor boots.
Riding: 9 years
Actual size: 9
Size bought: 10
Terrain: track and trails
These boots are simple amazing. The styling is nice and simple, yet extremely cool. The "ratchets" feel a little loose to me, but they hold up very nicely. My boot size usually runs a 9, so I bought the 10 to give me a little wiggle room and they fit perfectly. As far a performance, they are very ridged but allow enough ankle movement to be comfortable. The break in time was very minimal. Overall I love these boots, Thor has always built great protective gear and the new Ratchet boots are no exception.
Pros: Much more firm and I feel much safer in these boots than most other boots in this price range
Cons: If dirt gets into the Ratchet, its difficult to open as well as tighten. The ratchet isn't actual metal, just silver plastic (cheap), VERY tight on my wide feet.
•After each use, remove any dust, mud and grease with a soft brush or damp cloth. To remove stubborn dirt, use a damp sponge and neutral soap.
•Do not use solvents, chemical cleaning products or hard brushes, as these may permanently damage the leather and plastic parts.
•Do not use a washing machine or pressure cleaner to clean your boots, as high temperatures and pressures may damage certain boot components.
•Always dry your boots in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sources of heat such as radiators, stoves or direct sunlight.
•To keep the leather uppers supple, periodically apply a neutral cream specifically formulated for leather footwear.
