Hard tall seat

Bought the sdg tall hard seat. Had to take a unibit and drill to the mounting holes to open them up a bit because out of the box, the seat didn't fit bike.07 Yz450f. Seat is very hard and may have you on tip toes.

Works Great!

I have only had the chance to use it once because I bought it in the winter but it does it job perfectly. The seat was really hard to put on the first time because it needed to be broken-in (mold to the framework of the bike), but after the seat had been bolted on for a while it slid on with ease. Some say that the seat seemed too hard but I didn't notice it while I was riding. It keeps your posture much better and you can take turns much more effectively. The grip (seat cover) on the seat is also high quality. Sliding around doesn't happen much at all and that allows you to focus more on riding than actually staying on the bike. I forgot to mention that the seat also comes with multiple decals that were very cool. That was a great bonus! Overall it's a great product and I would buy again if I needed to.

Good product

Don't really notice the bump, maybe because the new seat has so much grip i'm hardly sliding back into it. THought it would play a bigger part, seems hardly noticeable. Still a solid seat.

It fits and works great on my 2012 KX250F.

Great seat

If you have a 450, get this seat. No matter how hard i open the throttle, i will not slide off the seat. The hump of the seat is in perfect location and to top it off, the seat is really comfortable. Take off the old seat, slap this one on and your ready to ride.

Ive had better

Well instal wasn't the easiest with my over sized tank. I had to cut the plastic piece the hooks onto the tank but i had to do that with the stock one so no biggie. After i had it on it took a little bit to get used to and once i did i loved it. I had it for a month or so and got a small rip on the side, it didn't bother me because i race hare scrambles and stuff like that always happens. Well after about 3 months and a 2 hour race i now have a huge gash in the side and have to buy a new seat. Great i get to spend another $125 to buy a new one. Performance was great, Fit and function was decent, Durability was bad

A: To get your 2014 Kawasaki KX450F sitting a bit lower you can go with a Devol lowering link and/or shave your seat foam down.

A: Unfortunately this seat does fit your 2008 WR250f. This would be a stock height seat with a raised portion in the back and would not be any lower than than the stock seat. For your height it would be recommended to either shave the seat foam down some or to install a lowering link to help get the seat height down to a tolerable height for you. The Devol lowering link we have will lower the bike 1.25" which should help.

A: On the step seats the lower portion of the seat will still be stock height. The rear portion is raised from stock height to make the step.

A: Yes, you can always change or replace your seat cover regardless of whether your seat is standard or "stepped"... as a matter of fact, we actually have a "how to" video that might be usefull for you if you haven't changed out a seat cover before!
