Sato Racing Rearsets were born from development and testing, not only on the street, but also in MotoGP and All Japan Road Race (Super Bike, GP250, GP125, ST600) for more than 9 seasons. Sato Rearsets feature multiple adjustable positions so that you can find the perfect stance for your size and riding style. The ranges of positions on their rearsets are optimized for the track, with most having the capability to move your feet higher up and further back compared to stock. Additionally, many rearset applications can provide a GP-style reverse shifting pattern. All rearsets are precision made, CAD / CAM / CAE designed and CNC machined. Sato Racing gives them anodized finishes to prevent oxidizing and scratches. And you can choose from Silver (clear), Black or Gold on most models. If you are a serious racer who wants an edge on the competition, Sato Racing Rearsets are the way to go!
Ten (10) possible positions of adjustment; Minimum of 30 mm Down and 5 mm Back (default) / Maximum of 40 mm Down and 25 mm Back.
The 10 positions provided by these rearsets are in an adjustment range optimized for drag racing, moving your feet lower and and further back compared to stock.
Standard or Reverse shift capable; can be easily switched to a reverse shifting pattern by relocating the shift rod.
NOTE: Use with drag-style exhaust ONLY; does NOT work with O.E.M. exhaust.
The goal of rearset production is to give you an excellent design with the best operation and finest quality. So, Sato Racing uses double miniature stainless ball bearings for the shift and brake levers, for smooth, precise movement that alleviates any looseness or wobble. Sato Racing also knurls their footpegs for non-slip characteristics during aggressive riding - even the GP riders love the non-slip feel! These pegs are adjustable so that you can choose your best position.
Note: Sato Racing Rearsets are designed and developed using feedback from many experienced racers to be the ultimate rearsets for the track - delivering high performance in as lightweight a package as possible yet durable enough for racing conditions. This lightweight design means Sato Racing does not recommend them for stunt riding and wheelies. The peg bolts could fail under those conditions and they are not responsible if that happens. If you plan on stunt riding, stick with stock rearsets or get some other (heavier) aftermarket rearsets designed for that purpose.
