Great rain and dry tire. Long lasting.

I've had two sets of these on my Gen 1 Hayabusa. I've gotten 17000 miles so far between the both. I'm a daily rider.

A: The Pirelli Angel tires are designed for sport touring so they are not going to be the best track day tire but will offer some longevity over performance tires. There will give and take with any tire. If you go with a performance tire you lose longevity.

A: The Angels are a sport tour style tire. They were created for use on the street when the rider is more concerned for mileage as opposed to stickiness of the tire. These would not be an ideal tire for the drag strip, but would be adequate for the street.

Hi, could you tell me the manufacture date of these tires? I know they’re an older style and have been replaced by the GT’s. Also, how would you rate them against the GT’s. I’m putting them on a Yamaha FJR. Thanks very much. Ed

A: All of our tires are made within manufacturer recommended dates for shelf life, so we don't guarantee the dates that they were made. They are carefully stored in our warehouse and arrive ready to ride.
However, considering your bike, I would definitely recommend the GT tires for your larger FJR, especially riding 2 up or with luggage.
