Michelin Pilot Power 3 Tire Combo Michelin Pilot Power 3 Tire Combo Triple H - Brooklyn NY Great Tires "I've done extensive research on different sportbike tires and decided to purchase the P3'S and it was a great decision, I own a 2011 Kawasaki ZX-14 and I went for a ride on a Friday Evening after hanging out with my MC Brothers on a fairly cool night on my home I was going into very tight hairpin curve a little to fast I admit but after making a quick adjustment I was thoroughly impressed with how the tires gripped the road at that angle I could of literally dragged my knuckles on the pavement, Extremely Great Tires !!!!!!!!!!!!"

Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT Tire Combo Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT Tire Combo Greg - Florida Great tires, just old for brand new "I love these tires, third set on my RT...I just wish MotoSport would have told me they were brand new 3 year old tires. Some installers won’t touch them unless they’re “new” tires within 6 months old. I’ll be sure and ask that question when ordering in the future if I order again from MotoSport."

Michelin Motorcycle Tires

The Michelin name is nearly synonymous with automobile tires. The company was founded in 1888 and introduced the radial tire in 1946. Today, Michelin runs neck and neck for the world's largest tire manufacturer honors with Bridgestone. What perhaps is less known is the success of Michelin motorcycle tires. Michelin first proved itself in 1891 when Charles Terront won the longest non-stop bicycle race ever held by using removable tires invented by Michelin.

Today, Michelin motorcycle tires are world renowned for their performance and durability. Michelin's Scorcher tires are original equipment on select 2013 Harley-Davidson models and the Michelin Commander II provides nearly twice the mileage of competing cruiser tires. The new Michelin Pilot Power 3 Dual-Compound Sportbike street tire enhances riding performance, gives confidence in wet and dry conditions and provides 20 percent more tread life than the Pilot Power 2CT tire series.

Michelin motorcycle tires also proved influential to MotoGP. In 1984, the company brought radial construction and 10 years later multi-compound tires. From 1972 to 2008, Michelin secured 360 wins and from 1993 to 2006, the world champion rode on Michelin motorcycle tires.
