Works perfectly!

This tool works far better than anything else I have used for tightening the steering stem bearing nut. Great for preloading bearings on older bikes to act like a steering stabilizer -- the bearings are rated for very heavy loads and do turn at slow speeds so bearings last a LONG time even with heavy preload.

Doesn't fit 2015/2016 Yamaha YZs

Bought this for my 2015 Yamaha YZ 250 and 450. It doesn't fit! The open end wrench is too small for the stem nut. Also, it appears that if it did fit the nut, it still might not work. The jaws are wide, and look like they would hit the bar mounts before turning very far. See photo.

Doesn't fit yamaha

Got two of these, one for Honda and one for Yamaha. Honda wrench fits both sides and is excellent tool. Yamaha however the wrench doesn't fit the nut on top of the triple clamps. It is slightly too small. I will probably try and file it down to make it a little wider but for the money and a motion pro tool you would expect it to fit.

Excellent Tool

Valuable tool that enables adjustment of stem nut without removal of handlebars. Good for those times when quick work is needed such as between motos.

Nothing Easier

This makes tightening your steering stem the easiest process on the planet. If you want your bike to go straight and plow thru ruts by this product and tighten your steering stem up with no problems. A little tech tip. Before tightening your steering stem unloosen the top bolts on your triple clamps before you tighten the steering stem down, after you do tighten them back up.

Open end doesn't fit

The open end didn't fit my 2011 YZ250 2 stroke, slightly too small for the top nut. The spanner end did work fine, but for 40 bucks the tool should work as advertised. Good thing I had my 1.25" open end wrench that coincidently fit the top nut just fine.

Simple and Easy

It's not a must-have, but it sure makes life simpler and easier. It really helps keep you from tearing up your spanner nut. I'll give it a A-.

A: Yes, the Motion Pro T-Stem Nut Wrench will work on your 2009 Honda CRF450R. The 32mm open end side fits T-Stem nut on most Honda CR/CRF models and the 46mm spanner side fits slotted spanner nut on most Honda CR/CRF models.
Q: Will I be able to tighten a steering stem spanner style nut on a 2003 YZ250 (2 stroke) using this tool. It doesn't list a model specific.
