Great product and customer service

When this kit first was first delivered to me it was incomplete and even had some parts for a different bike. I called kibble white and talked to a very friendly and helpful customer service representative who sent me a new kit free of charge that was at my door before the end of the week. The valves fit perfect and the bike runs great, I would definitely recommend this kit to anybody who wants to be done with the annoying oem valve problems.

Great upgrade for Hondas.

Installed in my 05 crf450r and work very well. No power loss noticed. This is a high quality kit and beats others I have used and seen. Swirl polished valves and quality machined parts. I am a Tool Maker so I look for quality machining. Would highly recommend. My bike pulls on my buddies 08 rmz450 so I am pleased.

Definitely a good product!

Its hard to compare before and after power, but there was definitely a lot of power coming from my CRF250R after I installed these!

A: The kit for your 2004 CRF250x is indeed supposed to run double springs. It is not uncommon for companies to use dual springs to better help control the valves under high RPM conditions so they do not float. The spring bases are manufactured to work with these springs. These springs have a different thickness wire and the bases will be the correct height to compensate for this to put correct preload on the spring. For the valves you will want to lap them to the new head. It would be recommended to check with an engine builder to verify the old exhaust valves are in a useable condition. Typically when you have a new head it is common practice to install new valves to ensure the longevity of the valve train and to prevent premature wear of the valve seats. You only want to lap steel valves into the head and would not lap a titanium valve.
