I bought a size larger than normal and they fit great. Love the look and feel. Stiff, but will break in nicely.

These boots are high quality. The buckles are purely decorative and there is no adjustability. That being said, I ordered the size I wear in Asics running shoes (for a frame of reference) and they fit nicely. I'd estimate that I have another month to have them fully broken in. I get a lot of complements about these boots. The brown color is darker than some stock photos appear.
I commute to work every day and go home for lunch too. I put them on and take them off at each stop. I went thru 3 pairs of boots in 6 months that had strings that just couldn't handle the frequent on and off. These boots have a tough zipper only for easy and quick on and off. A bit heavy but bullet-proof! The entire foot is protected with HEAVY reinforced leather. So thick and tough I don't think the sole hardly even bends while walking.
I've been riding since the late 60's and got hand-me-down motocross boots as a kid that looked so much like these that nostalgia just took over. Love the looks and function of these boots and would strongly recommend if you like the looks and don't want to have to buy another pair of street boots for the rest of your life! I got the oiled leather finish and after 2 years they look beautifully seasoned.
The style of these boots are great...not old man cruiser and not rice rocket sneaker things...They are heavy duty and have pretty good grip. My only complaint is they are a bit on the narrow side. Order a half size larger than you think you would need and you should be fine. All in all they are great when riding.
