Houser Racing is excited to offer the Race Cage High Lifter Edition. The High Lifter version is different from the normal Race Cage. The High Lifter has the snorkels behind the seat harness brackets, so Houser had to re-engineer the seat harness mounting tabs. They extended the harness tabs, allowing the harness to hook up below the snorkel assembly.
Another change on the High Lifter Edition is the rear bumper mounts had to be extended. This is because High Lifter uses a larger diameter lower radius rod and the plate that secures the radius rod sticks out further than the original O.E.M.
The Race Cage is engineered and designed to provide maximum protection to the riding occupants and the UTV itself. Roll Over Protection (ROP) is the most important feature of your UTV. Below, you will see why the Race Cage is the right choice for you:
Loop Style Design: Maximum strength from any angle collision.
When you look at other competitive race series like NASCAR, tractor pulling, Trophy Truck, etc., you will notice all of their chassis have a hoop or loop over the driver's head. This is a standard requirement for racing because testing has proven that this type of design is the strongest. When you look at the Race Cage, you will see Houser has utilized the same techniques. They have a hoop over the driver's head and in the front window section. The hoops have been tied together with a bent horizontal middle tube with triangulated gusset tubes in every corner.
Triangulated Strength Gusset Tubes:
Every corner of the Race Cage has triangulated gusset tubes that provide maximum strength.
V-Bar Intrusion Bar:
Keeps large objects from coming in and injuring the occupants.
Recessed Light Bar and Removable Light Bar Cover:
Keeps expensive Light Bars (sold separately) protected in a roll-over, tree limbs and many other scenarios.
Keeps light bar covered during day riding.
Stamped Aluminum Roof:
This is intricate to achieve a stylish look with a loop design cage.
Removable Left and Right Sub Cage:
Quickly remove your sub cage to work on the engine.
We left enough room to remove your air intake cover.
Ties in to rear bumper to strengthen the main cage and rear bumper.
Removable Left and Right Strut:
Mounts to the chassis over the rear shocks.
Adds maximum strength to the main cage.
Shock reservoir mounts.
Integrated Rear Bumper:
Stylishly mounts to the sub cage adding maximum strength to the main cage.
Full protection to the rear end of the UTV.
Uses Houser L-Bolt mount design.
Manufactured in precision weld fixtures.
Manufactured from 4130 aircraft seamless tubing, allows the Race Cage to have more strength at a lighter weight, justifies the extra cost from other DOM cages.
Professionally engineered: Houser Racing employs four engineers, Jeff & John Houser, John C. and Pat M. Houser uses Autodesk Inventor 3D Design Suite.
