Put a viewing window in my kx450

Threw a chain last race of the season and it ripped the case save off and put a huge hole in the case.

Doesnt protect case

Chain came off and broke the case where the bolt goes in from case saver to case and broke where the clutch cable goes in. I will be trting plastic case savers now because metal is too much exerts all energy into case. The case saver does look cool but didnt function as needed and no ill be in the motor $2500

Case savee

Purchased because the flimsy case saver I had failed when my chain broke and cracked the case on my yz250f. This one is much wider and looked to be able to do a better job of protecting it, it also looks great.

Case saver

This case saver is direct factory replacement and fits like a glove. Hold the factory case saver up to this bad boy when you take it off and compare them for yourself!! If my chain blows, I know my case is safe with this add on.

Do I use the shim that was behind the stock case saver on the 2013 kx450f with the hammerhead case saver

A: You remove the stock unit and install the HammerHead Case saver in place of the stock unit. If there are washers, you will need to reuse them unless the installation instructions states differently.

Will this case saver fit with a 14t sprocket, which is a tooth bigger than the stock 13t?

A: Yes, you should have no problems running a 14t sprocket on your 2007 Yamaha YZ250F with this case saver. The Hammerhead case saver is designed to allow for a larger counter shaft sprocket. Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your bike before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct case saver for your bike. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: This case saver is meant to replace your OE front sprocket guard. I installed on an 08' CRF450. By using this you'll still be protecting your case and electrical from debris but it eliminates mud and other junk from getting caught in the OE sprocket guard. That and it looks better!

A: The previous answers are correct. This is meant to fully replace the stock sprocket cover.
