Sounds good, Looks good

The title says it all. No loss of power. Gives you that rich 2 stroke sound. Legal for off road use areas that require spark arrestors and have restrictions on db levels. Plus the GYTR edition look awesome!

Excellent fit

Perfect fit and finish. The first one I received looked like a bear attacked it but customer service promptly replaced it.

Excellant spark arrestor

Perfect fit, nice sound, looks great, the bike idles better and no loss of power.Little bit lighter weight. When installing a spark arrestor the main concern is that the bike will lose power but that didn't happen.Combined with the FMF Gnarley pipe the bike has fantastic low end and over-rev and better throttle response compared to stock.Very happy.

Buy IT

This thing is awesome. Its a great exhaust for someone that needs a spark arrestor but still wants something that looks nice, clean, and modern. My YZ still spugges but I think its just the bike, not the pipe.
Its basically a fancy FMF but it looks great on my bike.

Q: The difference between these two mufflers.
1 year 10 months ago
Hi, I need to know the difference between these two mufflers. My bike is a yamaha yz250 from 2017. What do you advise me to put? Thank you. Item # GYT0037 The TurbineCore 2 provides optimized performance with the functionality of a U.S. Forest-legal spark arrestor for sanctioned off-road competition such as Hare & Hound series. The straight-through design of the spark arrester canister and the performance flow stainless steel end cap ensures strength, durability, and most importantly, track-and-race competition-proven unrestricted power. Note: YZ models are closed-course use ONLY regardless of modification. GYTR P / N: 1P8-E47A0-V0-00. ------------------ The GYTR by FMF Racing 2-Stroke Exhaust Silencer was designed to work with the GYTR Racing 2-Stroke Exhaust Pipes. Improves performance. Features include extruded aluminum canister, integrated mounts, formed stainless steel end caps, and mandrel-bent stinger. Features button-head screws for easy maintenance. Lighter than stock. Features the GYTR by FMF badge. Built exclusively for Yamaha by FMF. GYTR P / N: 1P8-E47A0-T0-00.

A: The difference is that the turbinecore 2 silencer has a built in spark arrestor (not removable) and the other does not. Bassically, one is for trail riding and the other is for track riding. If you ride trails and they require db levels and spark arrestor then go with the turbinecore 2. If not go with the other one.
