Q: Header for yamaha 450 fit on kawasaki 140?
1 year 11 months ago
Two days ago I mistakenly bought a header for yamaha 450, I actually have a 140 l klx, can somebody tell me if it works or can I do some adaptation? thanks
Q: Does this header work for an `06 YZ450F?
I have a 2006 YZ450F and recently picked up a GYTR silencer for the bike (it already had a power bomb header on it); however when trying to install silencer this weekend the silencer diameter is larger than the current header and has a steel wool gasket with stock exhaust. The header with the silencer I bought is also for sale, but it lists `07-09 YZ450F or `07-11 WR450F. Wondering if I this header will work with my bike. Obviously need the larger diameter header to meet the new GYTR silencer and have metal/metal contact. I believe there are difference between header and silencers sold seperately verse full system exhausts...in which case, will this 2S2-E46A0-V0 fit my 450F.

A: This GYTR FMF PowerBomb Head Pipe would be made to work with the GYTR FMF Factory 4.1 Titanium Slip-on Exhaust or any other FMF Slip-On Exhaust for your bike. It will not work with a GYTR Muffler that is not made by FMF. Also, from what I can tell this particular GYTR FMF Header does not fit your 2006 Yamaha YZ450F.
Q: Will the diameter of this head pipe work will other manufacturers.

I have a Dr. D full exhaust but want to change just the head pipe to this one. Will it fit into my midpipe?

A: This header is only made to fit FMF slip on exhaust systems it would not work with your Dr. D full system.
Q: Is there significant difference between the FMF and GYTR FMF PowerBomb Head Pipe?

A: There is no difference in the construction of the FMF and the GYT-R FMF Header Pipe.
