I must be unlucky

Firstly, the guys at motosport are top notch. I received my first hour meter and noticed after a couple hours it was not tracking properly. Called and they replaced it no issue there. Second meter lasted 4 hours then stopped tracking. I've heard of this product working fine however I now have 2 junk ones, I'll be getting a hard wired hour meter next. The la again to motosport for trying to resolve it, I'm chalking this up to bad luck on my end and am by no means upset, the price was just right and worth trying.

Get Hour Meter.

Easiest product I ever installed. Wiped off frame with alcohol, let dry and stuck the hour meter to the frame. That Easy! Hour meter comes on automatically when bike starts up. Also has separate function for separate parts hour meter. I will buy this for all my bikes!

GET Hour Meter

Solid hour meter. Been on my bike for almsot 20 hours, no problems. Just make sure you clean the frame where you stick it really, really well. I didn't and the double sided tape didn't work well. I had to use a 3M command strip to hold it on. Works perfect now, but still have the safety zip tie on it.

Very sensitive

Great idea but it seems to be reading the vibration from my truck when I haul the bike in the bed of the pickup. Looks good, easy to install, just not quite an accurate hour meter if you are going to be hauling your bike in the back of your truck. May work as designed with a trailer.

Solid Product

Works great! Installation was super easy and required nothing except slapping it on the bike! Works like a charm and stays on through all the abuse!

Not useful

Hour meter tends to log hours when my bike is on the trailer making it pretty useless. I secure my bike with risk racing mounts. This may not be an issue if you secure your bike with straps as they don't transmit as many vibrations to the chassis.

Best idea for an hour meter

No monkeying around with wiring, put it anywhere safe on the bike (it has double sided tape on it already), zip tie it and forget about it. I even dropped it onto the floor installing it and no issues. Comes on a few seconds after you start the machine, works great.

When bike is in the back of a pick up or in a trailer?

A: Typically the vibration from a truck or trailer will not be enough to activate the hour meter. The bike itself vibrates much more while running.

A: we transport our bikes hours away from home & had no issues. We own five of these meters.

A: Being transported isn't enough vibration to turn on the hour meter.
