Great boots. Supportive, comfortable and they last a long time. I have tried a few other big brand boots and I always go back to the SG 12s.

This boot was comfortable right out of the box. No real break in period. Snug around the ankles at first. Felt better as I rode with them. The buckles work easily and they are tall enough for riders in the 6’ range
Great boots with great features and a very nice fit !!!
A bit pricey but well worth the money. Very comfortable and lots of protection.
I was in the market for new boots for a while, I needed something that i could wear for hours at a time and not be uncomfortable. Needless to sat i decided to go with the sg-12, and i am extremely satisfied with the decision. Not only is it very comfortable but it has a lot of adjustability for knee braces and comfort. Boot feels great, and very easy to break in, i have owned a many boots and this is by far the best choice if you plan on riding for several hours.
Bought these and they are awesome. It turns out I needed a size smaller and the exchange was flawless.
I broke my left foot five years ago, and those toes are a little misaligned and rub on the inside of the boot. So, I have been using a size 11 Alpinestars boot on the broken foot and a size 10 Gaerne on the right. Since Motosport offers one free fitment exchange, I decided to order a set of size 10.5 Gaerne 2019 SG-12 Boots and I couldn't be happier. They broke in almost immediately and no toe rub. They are great for puddles, to about halfway up the boot. Very, very comfortable.
I bought my first pair of G-S12 in 2012, they turned to be tough boots. I am sized 11 wide and are true to size and super comfortable. Now they offer new and modern combination of colours. Never had to replace a hook. I ride mx and enduro.
Hardcore to the bone.
Still the best boots on the market in my opinion. They fit great and I can testify there have been multiple times where injuries and possible injuries could have been worse had I not had G's on my feet. Great quality, awesome color ways I'll always have these boots in my gear bag

There’s a membrane that comes up to about mid calf. Hope that helps!
