The exhaust sounds great. I put it on a 2014 yamaha stryker and it gave it a deep, throaty sound. Be warned, it does not follow the same lines as the stock exhaust. Look hard af pictures before you purchase. Install was pretty easy if you have mechanical knowledge. I didn't give it 5 stars because it caused my bike to run too lean and overheat, so I had to buy a tuner to combat that. Also, it caused a lot of popping and backfiring on decel. The tuner helped with that, but not entirely. If an ECU flash fixes the popping entirely, then I would recommend this system. If you like the popping, I would totally reccomend it

Q: For use on a 2007 VTX 1300R, what are the recommended jetting changes? My bike has stock exhaust thats been drilled out or gutted, and is already jetted richer.

A: Jetting changes will be specific to the bike, but also to your elevation, riding style, what type of fuel you run, existing modifications, etc.. Due to the many variables that go into tuning a bike, I recommend bringing your bike to a certified mechanic to make any necessary jetting changes, and tune your bike as needed.

A: It is not likely. The Yamaha Roadstar was released in the US as a 1700cc bike in 2005.
Q: I have a 2010 Vulcan classic 1700 with both pipes on the same side. Will this fit my bike? Every place I look it says it doesn't but your site says it does.

A: Freedom Performance states that this system ONLY fits the Vaquero and Nomad models only. This will not fit on your bike.
