I purchased 1 for my daughter at 1 for my son to use when riding on their 4 wheelers. Great deal but you pay for what you get. Very thin chest and arm material and not true to size. This would be more for rugby

I bought 2 of these for my 4&5 year old children. They haven't had too much time with them, but I am happy knowing that they are more protected. They seem to be well made and they are versatile enough to be worn over or under their jackets. They are both new to riding and luckily haven't had any bad spills. I would recommend these to any new riders.
Bought this for my 9yr old son. He could wear it but it was small on him. I kept it and sold it to my 6yr old nephew and it fit him perfect
Well worth the money glad we found this company
Good look, nice and light but runs small, the large barely fits my 5 year old.
Roost Deflector works very well for my 5 and 7 year old riders. Fit is excellent. They like them because there very comfortable and light.
Good quality piece of kit... but comes up really small.
Size scale does not relate to actual. buy bigger than you expect to need

Question answered by MotoSportRyanTUser's contributor status: Expert MotoSport StaffQuestion answered Over 5 years agoAnswer: A: Unfortunately, Fox does not provide the information for sizing this protector based on weight. According to Fox Racing the Small/Medium size fits ages 4-7, and the Large/XL fits ages 6-9.

Question answered by SouthlandFireProUser's contributor status:Question answered Over 11 years agoAnswer: A: I would think it would fit, my son is 3 and pretty tall. He ways about 36 lbs I think. Straps still have quite a bit of room to go. Hope this helps some.

Question answered by AJRoostinUser's contributor status:Question answered Over 11 years agoAnswer: A: My son is average size for 5 and the sm/med fits very good. If your nephew is a small 4 year old it might be big on him. otherwise it should fit good.
