Just bought these around a month ago and they have been nothing but awesome!
My wife rides trails and putts around on a crf230f. We figured a full blown MX boot would be overkill and opted for comfort. This is the wrong philosophy. These are very flexible and this is their greatest flaw. Even storing them on their side, and not standing upright per instructions, they will still start to collapse at the ankle under their own weight and size. It this point the whole upper half which is a bit too tall will accomplish very little. You can easily twist and fold them by hand. Wife was riding a light 125 and had a common type of slow crash which resulted in a broken fibula at the ankle. Had she been wearing a proper boot she would have been fine. She was the only one in the family that hadn't yet switched to alpinestar boots. regardless of the level of activity go for quality in boots and helmet.
I bought these as my first riding boots, super comfy and durable. I bought a size up from my normal shoe size.
Bought these for my wife and her first ever bike. She loves them. They are kinda stiff right out of the box but seem to be breaking right in.
Fit well, easy to take off and pull off, love the look.
My girl rode one time with her brand new boots and 2 buckles fell off . 200 junk and they where a xmas present . Thanks for junk fox thumbs down way down
Found these boots to be good for beginners that are just getting into riding (with low riding hours) but would not recommend to those who ride trails as they're not durable enough for the woods and enduros. They're extremely comfortable but didn't hold up long enough (about 1.5 years). Definiely not enough ankle support, which is disappointing. Basically, these boots are true MX boots but would not recommend for the woods as they don't have nearly enough protection.
I would really like to see a women's specific boot for trails riding that are durable, are truly waterproof, contain a steel toe, and are NOT pink. When will manufacturers realize not all women like to rock the color pink??? I ride with a lot of guys and notice their selection in boots is much more accommodating and safer. I've been struggling to find a pair that are just as nice for women.
They are not too stiff, even when they are new.
I would say they are good quality. Even after I get them wet pretty much on every ride. They old up very good for how many times I used them (I used them a lot for enduro riding). I even wash them with the pressure washer everytime, which is ussually not reccomended. I wear a size 5 shoe. But a size Fox women 6 boots, because the size 5 are too small for me.
Great product for the price.
