Good purchase

My son just turned 5. I was impressed how well these fit him. Just make sure you buy some long soxs that go above the knee because the top straps rub the back of there legs

Q: Will these fit my 3 year old?
I saw that these are for 4-9 year olds.I was wondering if these will be too big for him? He will be wearing them on the outside of his jeans. If you don't think these will fit are there any recommended for a 3year old?

A: Its possible they would fit a 3 year old but it would be difficult to say. Total length on these is 10” and from the bottom of the guard to the pivot point is 6.5”. The elastic Velcro straps allow for plenty of adjustment to secure them. I would recommend comparing these measurements.

Q: Sizing

My son is 6 and average size. Will these last very long size wise? should I be buying him the Youth size guards or would they be too big?

A: Being 6 years old he is probably getting to be on the big side for these knee guards. It is tough to say but usually after about 6 or 7 years old kids will be in the youth sizing. I would highly recommend trying them on if at all possible to verify the fit. It will be up to you to determine how fast he is growing and if you think it is worth it to purchase these, or go up a size to the youth model.
