Love the gloves a little pricey but definitely worth every penny...!!!
Initial impression was that these were not worth $50, they're basically rebranded Mechanix gloves. I ride a lot of rough woods so I was looking for a tougher glove but not as heavy as my full street leathers. The very first time I wore them, the seam split between the index and thumb, and I was just cruising around my property feeling out a new pair of boots. Also note that I ordered XXL which fit a little loosely like I wanted. I'm going to sew the split seam with floss and hope they hold up.
I've worn out several pairs of these gloves. They're great !!! We ride really tight woods. GOOD PROTECTION against limbs hitting your hands.
Very comfortable and really like the extra protection they provide
Overall excellent gloves. I use these gloves for Mt biking cause I bike where there is rock and cactus and I need a robust glove...no cycling gloves come close. My only suggestion would be to make the wrist cinch straps longer and wider. I have wide hands and big wrists and had to cut mine off because they were only getting in my way and would not stay secure.
I have two pair of these one I use on my dirt bike and the other on my street bike. They are very durable, comfortable and a great value!
Only glove I use. Best protection all round and comfort. Inner thumb Web unthreads.
I have been riding with this glove ever since I caught a rock in the knuckle. I really like the Carbon fiber guards. Reduces bruising and swelling and soreness when your knuckles hit objects during riding. The fit is good. I wear a 13 and they fit nicely. After a dozen rides they still look new.
The base that the carbon knuckling is mounted to rubs hard on your knuckles and is distracting. I have put 200mi. on with these and both gloves have holes in the thumb saddle/webbing. For these reasons, combined with the price I would not recommend you purchase these gloves. Side note: my friend purchased the Thor (Impact?) gloves that have carbon knuckles and he too feels the carbon knuckling base rubs his knuckles too much...
These gloves fit well and look great, but after 4 days of riding out in the Colorado mountains the area where the thumb meets the rubber twist grips (palm) was almost worn through. Therefore, I question the durability and quality of the leather? Otherwise I do like these gloves, but maybe they're better for easier/smoother trail riding instead of hardcore enduro-type riding.
