The best Exhaust!

Great exhaust! Put it on my 09' crf150, great performance. Also nice sound. If you aren't happy with it take out the spark arrester pipe with a alen wrench. SOUNDS AMAZING! Nice low bello. Brappp!

A: The stock exhaust systems are designed to meet the emissions and noise-level restrictions set in place by most federal, state, and local authorities, and laws vary from state to state. It’s important that everyone check with local laws to understand what changes to your stock exhaust system are permitted.
Most after-market exhaust parts are lighter weight than the originals from the manufacturers. Most after-market exhaust parts allow the exhaust to flow more freely, and with reduced back pressure, and thereby improve performance. Performance improvements might be achieved with higher horse power and top end speed, or tuned for better low-end torque and quicker acceleration.
Allowing the exhaust to flow with less restriction usually demands adjusting and retuning of the fuel/air system, whether it is carbureted or fuel injected. In many cases, you might not know whether or not adjustment or retuning is needed until after you installed the new exhaust and taken it out for test-ride.
Some carburetors allow you to adjust the fuel/air ratio and the idle, but in some cases, changing the exhaust might require rejetting. Check out the simple guide to rejetting your carburetors: http://www.motosport.com/blog/a-simple-guide-to-jetting-your-carb

A: FMF Q4 Spark Arrestor Slip-On Exhaust is designed for the OEM header and FMF headers only. If the Yoshimura header works with the factory slip on, than it may possibly work with this FMF product also.

Is the quiet insert also included with the Q4?

A: There is a spark arrestor insert that comes with the Muffer but there isn't a separate quite core for it. The "Q4" is designed to be a quiet muffler, there is not a sound insert needed for it. Max Sound output 96 dB, most models below 93 dB.

Q: Dual to Single?
Will this single pipe mount onto the stock header without the use of a cross section found on the 2008 Honda CRF250R with the dual exhaust?

A: Yes. It would mount up with the Stock Header or a FMF header. This Exhaust system would include muffler with the single mid-pipe that would eliminate the stock "Y-Pipe" on the dual exhaust Honda's.
