Tough pipe with good low end

My stock KTM 300 pipe was beat and I put this one on. Similar low end as the stock pipe but WAAAYY tougher. Already been dropped on the pipe with just a few scratches where the stock pipe would have dented.

Wrong fitment

Pipe works great after the cutting welding and fabrication I had to do to make it work on top of waiting almost a month to get it after paying 2 day shipping... Motorsport has lost my business after this !

Finish in fitment is great

The fitment is always good and fits perfectly, gives the ktm 300 that extra low end grunt at low rpm and coupled with the fad power core 2 shorty gives it an awesome sound.

Pipe I wanted

It’s the pipe I wanted but not even a week after having on my bike it started rusting. Happy with performance and loved the way it looked on day 1 but having rust along all welded seems is driving me nuts

Can't go wrong choosing Fmf products

I changed from a Fmf fatty to a Fmf gnarly and it's exactly what my Ktm 300 needed.Gave it a lot of pull from bottom end throughout the whole power range.

Poor fit for ktm 200 exc

I purchased this pipe for a customer for a 06 ktm 200xcw and it was very poor fitting. The only way i got it to fit was adding really long bolts and bolting it up very loosely and was super hard to get everything lined up

Excellent Quality

This pipe paired with FMF spark arrester is a winning combination.
It smoothed out the hit and provides impressive low and midrange power without sacrificing top end.

Q: Is it necessary to rejet / adjust the carbie after fitment to get this lower rpm power?

A: Yes. You should always properly tune your bike after getting an aftermarket exhaust to allow it to run at its optimal level and give you the most performance. Failure to properly tune your bike will void your warranty.
Due to the variations that may come into effect when tuning an engine (i.e. pipes, intake, altitude, cams, displacement, standard or high compression pistons, etc.) we CANNOT offer jetting recommendations.

A: You would have to adjust the jetting to compensate for this pipe-if you don't then it probably won't run smoothly.

Q: I have a 2013 ktm 250sx with a FMF shorty silencer on it with stock exhaust. Will the gnarly pipe bolt right up to the shorty silencer? And also what

A: Yes, you would have not problem matching the FMF Gnarly with the FMF shorty silencer. FMF designs their pipes to fit with their silencers.

I have the FMF sst pipe now and the powercore 2 was to big (long) and did not fit with this pipe. I want to get the pipe that will fit with this silencer. (powercore 2)

A: You would be able to use the same O-Ring Gaskets as the OEM pipe uses. The O-Rings for your pipe can be found in the OEM parts section.
