had to have a spark arrestor to satisfy Forest service requirement. this was an easy, relatively cheap fix.

Its a well build spark arrest and will work great on proper bike but dont buy if its for a fmf 4.1 on a klx110

2007 YZ250F Spark Arrestor
Needed this to ride down at Hatfield Mccoy. Mildly changes the sound of bike but barely noticeable. Had to file the screw hole on the arrestor to fit the screw into the original hole that is on the exhaust. No big deal. It fits and it works for intended use.. no complaints.

Very easy to install
bought this spark arrestor insert because I needed it for a trip to the sliver lake sand dunes. It was a very fast install which was one bolt and it worked great all weekend. Good buy

Great purchase
The FMF spark arrestor was very simple to install, just had to unscrew a bolt in the end of the silencer and install the spark arrestor and screw the bolt back on.
Very simple, and it made my bike legal for enduro competition.

Question answered by Ride 177User's contributor status:Question answered 1 year 6 months agoAnswer: A: Yes it is stamped USFS approved. Face flange is 2 3/16" OD. Can't tell you what exact bore is, thinking around 1 7/8"OD(went in with block of wood and hammer, otherwise I would pull it out for exact OD) but the housing is 1 3/4" ID where the 2 screen holding pipes press in to it. Hope this helps.
