I've been looking for a replacement all weather enduro jacket for thumping through the weeds and ocotillo in fall and winter and saw the Fly Racing Terra Trek 4 Jacket in the Motosport site. Looks like it had all the right bells and whistles and none of the fo-fo stuff that gets in the way or fails in the future. Bought one the next size bigger than the chart because of the gut but the waist strap and velcro tighten up areas that would be flapping in the wind at freeway speeds. The elbow armor sits right where I have past get-off scars and feels solid enough for some street meat grinder slides. The pockets and main zipper velcro closures feel like the're sewn in real good and takes a pretty good tug to open but should keep maps and ID dry if a tree branch tries to open them up thumping through a rainy path. I forsee nothing but warm and dry good times with this jacket and big envy form the guys I ride with. ; )

Bought for my son. Like how it is very noticeable, and all the padding that it has.Great protection.
I have worn leather jackets for 30+ years. I'd been wanting a new riding jacket for awhile. Lots of choices. Saw a short article on this jacket, liked the look. Thought what the heck. It's very comfortable with liner in or out. The ventilation on a warm day is great. Never had that with the leather jacket. I don't know why I didn't go with this type of jacket sooner. Touring length is nice also. Definitely a nice jacket. Price isn't bad either. I've retired the leather.
