The Fly Formula helmet was born through countless hours of research and design seeking to produce a top level motocross race helmet.
Through extensive research, Fly developed composite pre-impregnated, woven carbon-fiber, Kevlar shell on the Formula helmet to provide a lightweight and extremely durable design. The Formula's shell assisted in gaining DOT, Snell M2010 and CE approval.
Top shelf safety features continue to flow into the EPS liner. The Formula's EPS liner is a dual density design that increases the efficiency of impact energy dispersion throughout the helmet.
Shoving mass amounts of air was an important part of the development of the Formula helmet which has been accomplished with the use of an astonishing 11 intake vents matched with 4 exhaust ports. The 100% carbon-fiber air scoops channel and force air through the front forehead vents.
For the those that aren't afraid to ride in the cold, Fly also includes air vent plugs with the Formula helmet to keep your head nice and toasty.
Fly maximized comfort by including a perforated liner with an integrated plastic airframe that keeps the shape of the liner, ensuring proper ventilation after numerous cycles of being worn, removed and washed.
The Formula helmet uses lightweight and extremely durable titanium hardware with D-ring design that makes it easy to adjust the visor. Fly understands racing can involve a mishap from time to time so they included an extra color matched Formula visor.
Fly also throws in a helmet bag that contains extra zippered pockets to hold more then just the Formula helmet.
