Normally during "up-shifting" you must roll off of the throttle and pull in the clutch in order to engage the next higher gear. In racing (both drag and road race), split seconds count. Rolling off the throttle, even slightly, slows your times and can be the difference between winning and losing. A Quick Shifter allows full throttle, clutch-less shifting. This is done by momentarily cutting the fuel and or ignition, which unloads the transmission. During this time, the rider can shift up to the next gear without rolling off the throttle or using the clutch.
Shift Rod Pressure Sensor - This universal sensor mounts inline with the shift rod.
Works with Dynojet PC5 setups and FTECU flash tune kits.
Universal (PC5 style - works with dyno jet PC5 and FlashTune shifter kits) quick shifter sensors for general applications or replacement.
FlashTune's new compact QS sensors are now smaller and more reliable than ever!
Note: Most new FlashTune Data-Link ECU Flashing Kits include a sensor harness adaptor. If installing on a bench-tuned setup (FlashTune Data-Link Bench ECU Flashing Kit) you will need a quick shifter harness (sold separately), compatible shift rods (sold separately) and a push or pull sensor in most cases.
