For the price I expected a hard shell on the knee cap, but It was soft and comfortable. There was a rubber knee cap, but for the price I was expecting more, these were not much more than volley ball knee pads.

Out of the dozen or more knee pads I tried on, I finally blindly decided on these based on reviews and personal experience from riding partners. I ordered a large based on the size chart, and they fit good around the calf, but are a little lose around the thigh, I think a smaller size would have been too small though, as the pad fits my knee perfectly, and the whole thing stays in places all day. A little binding behind the knee but not unbearable. I would buy again.
Light and not to bad on comfort. My main and only complaint really is that the strap tends to chafe the leg. I also ordered a large, but should have gotten an extra large. I have small legs so this really surprised me actually. they seemed to do the job though. Haven't taken any major hits to the knee yet with them either though. Also when you ride you can hardly tell they're on which is a bonus. I'm gonna try them over some long underwear and see if that feels any better.
The feel very comfortable, seem to move with your leg as you knees bend which in my opinion was awesome. Only down side is the telco straps are kind short and this may sound silly but they are not marked left or right.
Much much much more comfortable than my previous guards, gosh my old ones were terrible. Love these!
I bought these to use for the Unadilla GNCC. I have a bum right knee which really fatigues me during the race but these knee pads gave additional support and protected my knee from bruising/scrapping from gripping my gas tank for two hours. They feel a tad awkward at first but after the first ten minutes of wearing them you wont notice them any longer. Would definitely recommend for racing/riding!
I have used the regular Glider and the Glider Lite and really like both. They are very comfortable. So far the Lite has held up nicely. The price was a bit much though.
i have only got to try them on but they feel great. much better than the other pair i had.
very good knee slider.. makes sticking to the bike a little tuff, but woth the knee protection..
I've been through quite a few knee guards, and these are the best I've used. They are really comfortable, and light, yet provide great protection. I also use them to play Paintball and they are excellent there as they allow me to run, slide, and crawl around with no trouble. Riding, I can wear them all day without any discomfort. I forget I'm wearing them.

Question:Q: What length are these?Question asked Over 5 years agoI am wondering how long these knee pads are, will the be tucked into the mx boot or will the sit above the top of the boot?
Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: Expert MotoSport StaffQuestion answered Over 5 years agoAnswer: A: 11’’ from top to bottom on a large. Generally the guard will go down into your boot (depending on the length of your leg and height of boot).

Question:Q: Will these protect from cutting?Question asked Over 5 years agoI just recently gashed my knee open on my bar clamps. the cut was bad enough it had to be glued shut and I was barely able to make it back to the vehicle. Will these guards be strong enough to protect against a high impact cut like that?
Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: MotoSport Staff ExpertQuestion answered Over 5 years agoAnswer: A: In that situation I would say yes they would probably be enough padding to absorb the impact and prevent a laceration.
Question answered by Jem1977User's contributor status:Question answered Over 5 years agoAnswer: A: The red and grey area is a rubber layer about 1/8 inch thick. It will offer some protection but it is not a hard covering.
