I've been using these for 4 or 5 years now, they have been great! They stay in place perfectly and cradle your kneecap really well. They really only protect your kneecap though, I've definitely taken some hits just above them but that part of your knee is strong and has muscle there to protect it. I'm about to upgrade to something with a little more coverage and joint support, but for someone looking for something light with minimal coverage I would HIGHLY recommend these.

I think they are a little pricey for what they are. the backs side digs into the back of my legs. But they do do the job and offer good protection
Was not looking for a hinge style brace / guard so this was the right product. Offers great protection for the entire knee. Fits above boot well. I wore them for 4 hours and no scraping on the back of my knees. Medium was a little snug for me but I stretched them out. I tried a large and they were too big. I measured my knee according to instructions and the medium was the correct size.
I purchased the MD Glider knee guards based off the sizing chart. I could't get the velcro strap around my calf they were so small. I also didn't like how large and obtrusive the plastic knee cap cup was. I exchanged these for a size LG Glider Light knee guard. The LG just barely hooks around my calves. So if you have short legs and big calves, be ware of fit. The glider light guards are way more comfortable without the plastic knee cup. And I absolutely loved how easy the product exchange went. Definite 5 starts for customer service!
I have worn these for 1 ride so far and they are pretty comfortable as far as a knee pad goes. The bottom is a little tight and the strap doesn't allow for much adjustment and chaffed the tops of my calves a little. Other than that these are a good pad and provide good range of motion. Didn't go down so not sure how they handle impact but are good for kneeling down.
These knee pads are lightweight, offer great mobility, and are comfortable. After a couple of laps, you don't even remember that you have them on..... until you crash and dig your knee into the ground. Then you remember exactly how much you love them.
I bought these for days that I'm not racing as my Asterik knee braces feel bulky on easy ride days. These guards provide adequate knee protection and are very comfortable, way more comfortable than my knee braces. I would recommend them to a friend.
I have big thighs and calfs, and even the largest size was way too small. Good looking knee pads, but had to give to my buddies girlfriend.
