Dunlop D606 Rear TireColten - Ohio Great tire "Bought this a couple weeks ago for my fathers klx 400 live in Ohio currently have about 3-4 inches of snow on ground decided to take it out for a rip and this thing was hooking like I wouldn’t believe can’t wait to ride it in the summer on the trails. P.S I would recommend not trying to put this tire on in your garage with spoons, I took mine to cycle gear and they have a hydraulic machine and said it was a very tough tire and struggled to get the bead to seat, but other than that I love it will definitely purchase again."
Dunlop D606 Tire ComboClark Adventure Tours - Washington State AMAZING TIRES AND GREAT SERVICE FROM MOTOSPORT! "First of all, these tires arrived way faster than expected! I love a company that ships right away! But this is a review of the tires and they are AWESOME! as seen in one of the pics I swapped out some very good 60/40 (Off road% / Street% ) dual sport tires for these more aggressive D606s that are 90/10. I was worried about pavement performance but they held up great around town and on the highway. But where I noticed the HUGE improvement was in the mountains! I single tracked all day and even hit some snow. So much traction and an amazing ride! Spend a little more money and buy these tires. You will NOT regret it! (don't forget to also buy new tubes and rim strips!)"
Dual Sport Tires for Dirt Bikes
It's not an everyday occurrence but sometimes you'll see a dirt bike pass you. No not on the track or trails, but on the road. Though not ready-made for riding on public highways owners can register their dirt bikes and use their Motocross bike for commuting or getting around local routes just like a regular motorcycle.
Making a dirt bike street legal requires some modifications including installing Department of Transportation (DOT) approved tires. Also known as dual sport, these tires work well on pavement while giving you the traction required when transferring from blacktop to trails. Dual sport tires offer the convenience of legally riding to your trail destination rather than transporting your dirt bike in the back of a truck or trailer.
MotoSport stocks a variety of dirt bike dual sport tires from some of the most well-known and respected manufacturers of DOT approved tires. Replace a front or back tire or grab a combo. Most of our available dual sport tires work well on pavement and trails while some cross over to the track. Imagine riding to your race on the very bike you're competing with!
