Well made but should be a lower price

Well constructed and look great on the bike. I like that these have pre-threaded holes for the screws that hold on the plastic guards; the probends have self tapping screws and can be a pain. While they are cheaper than the probends, I think they could still be a bit cheaper in price since they lack the extra bend near the lever and don't have any plastic protection along the side like the pro bends. If you don't have the room for the center reach probends or want a lower profile wrap around guard, these are a good option. Reccomend a threaded bar end inset like Fastway or BRP so they don't rotate up on impact.

Fitment is iffy, but once installed, great product

I got the Series One Probends, with the "Solution" center brace mount, to install on my YZ250 with CR-Hi bend 7/8" bars.

First of all, the components and hardware are very high quality. Black anodizing looks great on the bars themselves, the bolts and nuts seem tough and quality.

Now fitment... I understand that these are supposed to be semi-universal but I had a hard time getting mine to fit up. In the end, I had to resort to clamping the probends in my vice and beating them with a hammer to get them to where they would even touch the solution center brace. At that point, I then had to drill my own holes through the Probends to bolt them to the center brace. I was pretty frustrated, but they were finally on. I should note that I could no longer install my front number plate the normal way, since the Solution mount occupies that space. I ended up zip-tying the plate to the Solution mount, which looks a little funny, but works.

These look really good. Very attractive barkbusters.

My first ride with these was in Utah at the 5 Miles of H*ll trail (Motosport counts this as profanity, sorry), and they were definitely used and abused out there. They held up with no issues, no bending, and they protected my levers very well, even against boulders (when I busted a footpeg off). So the durability is there. Also, never really thought about them being there. They were comfortable and out of the way, especially with the Solution mount spacing them out a bit.

Overall, a good product, but in my case at least, required quite a bit of "adjustment" to work, such that I would not recommend them to anyone without decent shop skills and tools. My friends running Acerbis guards or Fastway guards, or Enduro Engineering guards did not have to modify the guards to get them to fit. Even other Cycra Probends (Non-Series One).

So far so good!

Just bought the bike, and I threw it in the ground the first time I rode it. Got these installed before ride 2 and made sure to abuse them with some tight trees and a few tip overs (I'm a little rusty ...). They're holding up great so far. Installation wasn't too bad. Needed some adjustment in the vise but they went on easily. Cheap enough too! I'll buy another set for a different bike in a heart beat.

Cycra Is #1 Name for handguards

Great quality. Only con is the instal. It takes a little while but is worth every second. These help deflect roost and branches. Also what you dump the bike in a race, you don't have to worry about your levers snapping off and ending your race!

A little difficult to install, but worth it

I bought two sets of these, one for my CRF230F and for my sons' CRF125FB. They were a little hard to install because the bend doesn't go as far as I think it should, but with another set of hands it helped a lot with installation. Both sets of these hand guards proved to be worth every penny because on the same day my son and I both laid our bikes over, but at different times of the day. Oddly enough we both fell to the left and had the guards not been there it would have been a lot more painful.

Best handguards ever!

Iv had these bark busters for a while now and iv hit more trees then I care to remember and they held up as good as can be. These r the best ur gonna find, they have a pretty thick bar that looks like it will never bend no matter how many times u crash or how bad the crash is! GET THEM NOW

Very good product

I purchased these to race in my first enduro. A word of caution about mounting options. Order these with the triple clamp mounts and NOT the bar clamp type mount. The bar clamp mounts will allow the hand guards to rotate when you crash. Ask me how I know.. :) Also the expanding nut in the handlebar will start to pull out. Do your self a favor and get the triple clamp mounting option... Other wise great product!

Answer: These will not work on that bike. You will likely be running a flag-style hand guard instead. Please give us a call to discuss your options.
