Great tire for the price

I bought this rear tire on sale for my Yamaha FZ1, which I use as a sport-touring bike. I had the BT023 on the bike before. The tire performs very well. Plenty of grip and good in the rain. Don't expect high miles though. I got less than 5,000 miles on the rear. The front is still good. One warning - the tire has very stiff sidewalls. Very difficult to mount yourself.

Decent if you don't push them.

Bike: '14 FZ09. Got nearly 9000 miles on a rear, which is the most I've ever gotten on this bike. After about 50% tread life, the back end stepped out on multiple occasions- mostly when cool, leaned over a bit, and hard on the throttle. Before these I rode through 3 sets of Angel GTs, and a set of Pilot Road 2s- which stuck like gorilla glue to the road under the same conditions.

As far as grip/longevity goes- these are long lasting, and grip pretty well considering the price (keep an eye out for Bridgestone rebates).

Can't say I am really confident ripping around in the canyons on these though. If you're into that, spend a little more and get the Angel GTs or Pilot Roads, or something even stickier.

Great tires

The dual compounds is these tires, gives you more mileage on the highway and exlant performance in the canyons. And can't beat the price. Keep the rubber side down!

Ok tires if you don't push them

Put these on my Triumph Daytona with the hopes they'd be a good blend between longevity and grip/feel, but they are quite biased towards longevity. They feel numb, are slow to turn in, and don't respond well to mid corner steering adjustments. I feel like I'm fighting the bike all the time.

If you're an average rider and don't hit the twisties much, these will be adequate. But if you like spirited riding, you'll find the rear stepping out often on you when you get on the gas at higher lean angles, and you won't be able to feel what the front is up to. I'm not confident pushing them, whether the grip is there or not.

Great Buy for the Money

I went with the BT023 as is the same tire it replaced.. Hopefully this tire will last as long or longer than the first.. 7024 miles on it. Far as installion paid to have tire mounted and balenced.. but easy taken off bike and putting back on.

Good Tire

This is my second (rear) BT023. I liked the last one so, going for another... This tire wears long and handles great. this is more of a touring tire than a performance tire, so if you want maximum traction, keep looking..This tire (in my opinion) strikes a good balance between long wearing (it is) and sticky, soft rubber..(it is not)... I run it on my Kawasaki ZRX1200, I think it is a good match for this bike. the price is good too.

Great kicks for a great price

Riding a '06 Z1000 for the last 4 yrs. and have always ran Dunlop Q2 sport max, good tires but not really designed for my style of riding. I cruise here there everywhere and daily commutes to work. Anyway, I decided to go with a sport touring to get more life out of the tires and match my riding style. I purchased the combo and these tires fit the bill perfectly. As of this review they have about 500-600 miles on them and broke in quickly, they warm up quickly and take the turns beautifully not to mention they look great ! If your not out on your sport bike tearing up the track/roads and your just cruising/commuting these would be a great tire for you. I'm very pleased with the tire, the price and Motorsport.com ad the service was outstanding and the shipping was on time, about a week from order placed and arrival to my door.

Good Tires, Good Price!

These tires are a good all-round touring tire. They are labeled "Sport Touring" on the side so they are what you expect - a tire with good handling and good treadlife. They aren't the best in the handling experience according to other reviews I have read, but for me on my 02 Katana 600 they do their job very well. I do recommend these to anyone if you are looking for a good all round tire that can get the job done during a commute or if you want to have a little fun in the twisties.
