Question:Q: Boyesen says it fits the yz450f 2009 and you say it doesn't, what gives? It looks like someone else in the Q and A installed it on an 08. If it fits all FCR carbs why wouldn't it fit the 2009 yz450f?Question asked 1 year 3 months ago

Question:Q: Accelerator pump coverQuestion asked Over 10 years agodoes it bolt directly on to the carb? or onto the water pump cover? it seems as if it does to the water pump cover. does it come with everything to install it?
Question answered by james718User's contributor status: Expert MotoSport StaffQuestion answered Over 10 years agoAnswer: A: If you bike is a newer 4stroke dirt bike, than your carb will have an accelerator pump. This is a specially designed pump that replaces the stock one currently on the carb. This part has nothing to do with the cooling system.

Question:Q: I installed a accelerator pump cover on my yz250f and now gas leaks form the cover what should i doQuestion asked Over 11 years ago
Question answered by DrewKlannUser's contributor status: MotoSport Staff ExpertQuestion answered Over 11 years agoAnswer: A: Sounds like there is a sealing issue. Try pulling it off and make sure everything is set properly as far as a gasket or o-rings goes and try and reinstall it. If it didn't include a gasket or o-ring with it you must use your stock one. So maybe you just need to replace whatever is on that cover. Just try and trouble shoot it.
