Great tire combo

I bought these about a month ago and just traveled 1200 miles to Florida and back to NC. Love the tires. Handled great and rode nice. Oh and they look great with the picture of a “cobra” on the side walls...

A: If you do not see the psi stamped on the sidewall of the tire, than the second best resource for you to be able to find that information is going to be in your user manual.

Q: I have a 2007 Yamaha V-Max. I just ride for fun and am looking to get a softer tire that grips instead of spins under acceleration. I'm going to replace front and back. What do you recommend?

A: Assuming that your 07 Vmax is a 1200, and utilizing the OEM specs, my recommendation for you on the request of a true sticky tire is: https://www.motosport.com/michelin-commander-ii-tire-combo

A: 130/70R-18-63H is a radial tire, with a speed rating of 130mph
130/70B-18 Is a bias tire that is cheaper.

Q: Will this tire fit on a 2000 Harley Davidson Electra glide?

A: Your bike calls for a MT-90B-16, which crosses over to a 130/90B-16. The B stands for bias. Radials should not be ran on these bikes.
For your bike, the closest size they offer is a 140/90B-16. You would need to check with a service shop to find out if you have the extra space in your swingarm to run a wider tire.

Q: Hi I've got a 2013 F6bagger goldwing, which Avon tire would be the best for traction on my bike. I'm looking for something that grips well during rainy conditions. Thanks

A: The only tire I am showing from Avon that will work on your bike is the Cobra tire, which will work but there are better wet weather tires like the Pirelli Night Dragons and the Michelin commander 2's.

Q: Can I use this tire Avon 140/90 B16 on my Honda nx250 my tire now is 120/90 16

A: We would recommend sticking with your 120. If im not mistaken your nx250 is more of a dual sport bike so I would stick with those style of tires and the factory size as well.

Q: I ride a VTX 1800N, I want wide white wall cobras in size 150/80R17 for the front and size 180/70R16. Do you stock these and how much do they cost?

A: Unfortunately Avon does not produce the Cobra White Wall tires in the correct size for your VTX1800n. For the VTX1800 we do not carry a whitewall tire, our available front tire can be viewed here: http://www.motosport.com/cruiser/150~80r17-tires . The available rear tires can be viewed here: http://www.motosport.com/cruiser/180~70r16-tires .

Q: Looking for plain black combo
I have a 2010 victory cross country. the stock tire sizes are, Front: 130/70R18 Back:180/60R16. I heard that Avon Cobras are the best for heavy loads as I pull a trailer. Can you accommodate me? If so,Can you tell me if a wide or standard size rear tire, would benefit me more?

A: Yes the Avon Cobra rear tire in the 180/60R-16 does have a high load capacity as it can be used on the rear of a Goldwing. It would work out excellent for towing purposes. The sizing you requested is available in the black wall tires. What you are looking at here are the white wall tires and the "wide white wall" designates the width of the whitewall and not specifically the width of the tire. There is no wider tire in a 180/60R-16 size.

Q: I am trying to determine weather to get radial tires or bias tires. Which avon cobra tire is which???

A: In the tire sizing it will have an R located in the size such as 120/70ZR-17 if it is a radial. If it is just 120/70-17 it would be a bias ply tire.
