AGV AX-8 Dual EVO Helmet - Karakum AGV AX-8 Dual EVO Helmet - Karakum GFkam - Great Falls, VA, USA Initial 300 miles review "This is very preliminary impression of AGV AX-8 Dual EVO helmet. The helmet runs smaller than my Medium Arai XD-4. I initially order a Medium based on current helmet and measuring my head. However, the Medium was way too tight. I managed to find one of the last 2016 year models in size Large. I am somewhere between Medium and Large. I decided for the last year model clearance to keep the large. Clearly there is a shell difference ( size ) between Medium and Large. I noticed the AGV has no ear cut out for speakers or earbuds. In general the area around the ears feels very snug for me. Hopefully overtime the foam will be compress down. For now I am using earbuds with my Sena S20 intercom. To mount the Sena, using the metal clamp plate, you need to first slip the inside plate between helmet outer shell and inside finish. The standard length screws that come with Sena works to clamp to parts down. Initial ride with helmet made the beak vibrate bad. But I figured it had to do my my fairing on my F800GS and I had the helmet strap too tight. Pretty stable now. The visibility of AGV is fantastic. Comfort is pretty descent except tight around ears. Will try to post an update after I log a few thousand miles."

AGV Pista/Corsa Scratch Resistant Shield With Tear Off Posts AGV Pista/Corsa Scratch Resistant Shield With Tear Off Posts Fezsquatch - Corona, CA, USA Amazing view "Hard to review this as a stand alone item being as it only work with the AGV Pista and Corsa helmets. If you don't have one of those, get one. If you do have one, you know that the optical quality of the shields for this helmet are top notch. The large eyeport gives great visibility, and the optics being what they are, you feel like you're looking out a picture window instead of the eyeport of a helmet. I also like the center latch, which can lock in a "cracked" position, which allows even airflow even when stopped, unlike most side latches which really only crack one side of the visor. Pinlock posts also mean great anti-fog, which you can't get with some brands' fog treated shields. One ride in this helmet and you'll understand why their shields are not cheap. this is one of the thickest shields I have ever seen, which might be key to it's overall performance. But they are well worth the money."
