I got these gloves hoping they would help on my commute during the winter months. I live in the Bay Area and the winter temps are usually in the low 40s in the morning when I leave for work. Sadly, these don't do much to keep my digits warm on my commute, which includes some local roads but mostly freeway riding with speeds up to 70-75 mph. This morning, real feel temp was mid to high 30s, and my fingers were cold before I even got on the freeway. By the time I got to work, they were pretty much frozen and they actually hurt from how cold they were. I basically lost tactile sensation, which made working the hand brake difficult because I couldn't tell how much I was pressing down on the lever. These gloves are comfortable, but probably would only be sufficient for temps as low as the 50s.
