I wore my sons gloves and used them with my cell phone. They were perfect! So I bought my own pair. Love the glove, except, the ability to use your phone doesn’t work.
I bought these gloves back in August. Coming from moto I never liked some of the full leather gloves as I felt I didn’t hav enough feel. I thought for the price I would give these a try and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Besides the carbon on the knuckles there’s leather on the palm and bottom of the fingers. I have great feel with the gloves and they breathe great. If you want a glove with good feel that will give u protection and not break the bank these are the way to go. Of course a full leather glove will provide more protection but there a lot more money and it’s personal preference on feel an what your comfortable in. The only bad thing I can say is I can say is if u were to pull hard on the Velcro tab i guess u would call it u use to snug the glove around your wrist and u didn’t make sure were holding it by more then just the very tip u could prol pull it off as by design it’s not a solid tab or strap wat ever u wanna call it. If your wondering what kinda bike I use them on it’s a Honda 929
These were the most comfortable gloves hat I had tried on. I love that the knuckles aren't sown in the back which makes for great flexibility. Unfortunately they begin to fall apart somewhat quickly and only lasted me about a season. The velcro could definitely use an improvement because it get's annoying coming undone all the time. Worth $60? Not too sure...if durability were to be touched up they would be unbeatable.
Bought these roughly 3 weeks ago and so far they have held up great. Thought they might be uncomfortable because of the carbon fiber knuckle armor but this was not the case. Even after a 10 hour ride the armor caused no irritation or fatigue.
Long time fan of alpinestars. This is the worst product of theirs that i've bought. I've had these gloves for only 2 months. I take care of my gear and i dont beat them up.
-Yellow lettering has partially fallen off already. I bought these for the yellow accents and some of it is now gone.
-Mesh holes are a bit too big and the material inside the gloves is starting to come out through them. It's minor, but annoying
-Big problem is that the wrist strap to secure the gloves is made of rubber and has torn almost completely off. Once it tears off, i'll have no way to tighten and secure the gloves around my wrists.
-They looked great before the yellow accents started to off.
-The carbon fiber knuckles look and feel great, i really like them.
-The palm side of the gloves is made from nice leather. The quality of it makes me feel confident that they will protect my hands during a slide
The only recommendation that i would give about these gloves is that you stay away from them, unless if you're ok with loose gloves that you cant velcro down
These are my first pair of bike gloves, so not much for me to compare them to. I've got my mom's short fingers, so they're naturally a little long in the digits but all in all my Large fits great as a 5'11" dude. They look great (black and white) and give a good feel on the bike. Thankfully haven't been crash tested yet.
Beautiful, can't really say for durability considering that I have only had these for about two months but so far so good, but what really impresses me about these gloves is that while they feel like they really protect your hands well, they still are very comfortable when considering everything. One thing you may want to know if you're like me and like gloves to be snug; these gloves where a little tight the first few times I wore them and now they are "worn in" perfect for my taste.
Wore them for the first time today and they feel great.
