Fox Racing

Fox Racing started in 1974 as a small distribution business for European Motocross parts and accessories. Within two years, Fox Racing added high-performance suspension and engine components then founder Geoff Fox decided to show his company meant business and in 1977 he created Team Moto-X Fox, a privately owned professional Motocross team.

The non-factory Fox Racing MX team competed well in the AMA 125cc National Championship Series and proved it could compete against the strong Japanese factory teams. Perhaps just as important to the Fox name, the team's riders made a splash by wearing handmade bright red, yellow and orange race outfits. The Fox racing clothing became an instant hit with fans and the phones began ringing at the Fox Racing store in Campbell, CA with folks interested in buying Fox Racing jackets and race wear.
