Firstgear Kilimanjaro Hi Waterproof Boots

BillSW - South Louisiana Comfortable and warm "First off, these boots are perfect for what they are trying to be. They're sporty without being aggressive. The cuff of my jeans passes over the shin protector nicely, but they can be worn tucked as well. The protection is substantial without being obvious. I got them as winter/foul weather boots, and I think they'll work great for that. South Louisiana winters are mild anyway, but I've worn them in 45 degree temps with high humidity, and my feet never got cold. They won't work in the summer here, but I don't need them for everyday riding. Now, on sizing: don't listen to all the talk of sizing up. I wear a 9.5 in everything. There were no half sizes, so I got a 10 like I always do in that case. These fit exactly as I would expect a 10 to fit me. I put in some insoles from an old pair of Vans Pro shoes (highly recommended), and now they are perfect. I expect many seasons of use out of these boots. They're comfortable, warm and protective. I gave them 5 stars more for value than for their quality compared to others. They're not fine Italian leather, but for the price, I don't think I could have done better, and I research every gear purchase thoroughly."

Firstgear Women's Voyage Jacket

burnman - western montana Nice jacket "I tried it out once and like it so far. The sleeves are comfortable and plenty of room across the shoulders in the riding position. I wish it had better vents on the front, but zipping the jacket down a little at the top allowed the air to flow around and out the back. I like the waist adjustable straps and the zippers on the sides are great. I also wish it had a tab to hold the collar back. I'll probably have to sew something on myself."
