Alpinestars Tech-3 BootsJake - Ohio Genuinely Disappointed "So I’ve had these boots for 3 months. Riding roughly once a week for maybe an hour total each weekend. Just learning motocross so I’m not hard on them and my feet almost never leave the pegs. I purchase A-Stars being that I expected top notch quality. What I got was boots that are falling apart after this span of 3 months. I message Motorsport, which was immediately responsive and let me know how to contact A-Star to resolve the issue. After a week and 3 emails I was met with the fact that I would have to ship my boots to them. Wait 2-3 weeks for repair and to ship it back after that time as well as 50 dollars to fix it. Unfortunately it looks like I will be looking at other brands from now on."

Alpinestars 2021 Women's Stella Tech-3 Bootsmperk Great for wide calves! "My calves measure 16-16.5 inches in diameter. These boots close, with room to spare! After closing them, there is still another 2-2.5 inches of buckle I could pull out. Im so glad I ordered them. They do run a little big. I usually wear a 9.5-10, and I ordered the 9s. They fit perfect, there’s plenty of room for my toes."

Alpinestars has roots in Motocross and motorcycling spanning six decades. The company that brought "legendary innovation" was founded in 1963 by Sante Mazzarolo in Asolo, Italy. Alpinestars got its start with hiking and ski boots but just two years later the company introduced its first motorcycle boot - it included an innovative steel shin protector and a buckle closure system rather than laces.
A decade later, Alpinestars marketed protective boots featuring toe sliders and enhanced levels of protection for the motorcycle road racing circuit giving the company a loyal following. In the 1990s, Alpinestars rolled out additional protective gear including gloves, jackets and full leather suits. In 2011, Alpinestars made significant headway in safety with the innovative Tech Air Race Suit which contains a fully functional airbag system. The technology Alpinestars created monitors the rider's movements and determines when a crash is imminent and deploys airbags along the shoulders and collarbone in milliseconds.
