As others have said this item goes on easy and looks nice. It fit fine on my 2013 trx400x. Then I rode it. After one ride of about 70-80 miles on a rocky Jeep trail this thing was destroyed. The metal had been bent till it was maybe 1/4 inch from my chain. Not cool.
I put the plastic stock one back on. It may not look as cool but it will take hits from rocks and just bend back the way it was. In this case, stock is better.
Easy install perfect fit. First ride out son high centers on a rock. Big chunk missing off the rock skip plate has a little scratch but not bent at all. Going to put one on the other quads if they make it for them.
Hangs down a little lower than the stock plastic "skid plate" which can get you high centered pretty easy if you aren't paying to much attention but it seems very solid and does its job at protecting what it is supposed to protect. Taken quite a few rock strikes already and it's holding strong.
Direct bolt-on to the 2004 Warrior. No modifications needed. The stock skid plate was a joke. This is a much needed upgrade.

This thing really saved my butt up in some rocky hill trials. Perfect fit, 10 min install. has taken a few good knocks and still fine.
Excellent quality fit and finish. Fits perfect, holes lined up perfect for mounting. Took about 5 minutes to install without a lift. can't wait to get the full chasis skid plate on
i love this, i have trx 300ex and i think it was easy to put on and it a lot better than the old one but the only thing is that it didn't come with a rubber for the chain to ride on but took off the old one
First off, the bolt holes did not line up. I had to beat the skid into place with a hammer then use a screw driver to line up the holes, bending and tweaking the skid plate. Once I got one bolt in on the brake side, i attempted to get the sprocket side bolts in, they barely squeeze in when you put on the large washer like they tell you too. Next, once the bolts went in, i realized you need the STOCK back nuts that hold the bolts in. Well this is a problem if youre switching from another aftermarket skid that has its own bracket with nuts welded on there. I acquired the factory nuts and after hours of trying to hold the nut still with an open end wrench, because the chain and sprocket are in the way and you can even get a finger in to hold it still, i couldnt get the bolt to thread on. The design absoulety sucks. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS SKID. ITS A PIECE OF JUNK. There are other skids for less money that bolt on within minutes.
had to use two bolts and nuts from my bolt kit because it never came with them but it was easy to install and fits nice... biggest complaint is that it doesnt cover my linkage.. pretty much only cover sprocket and rotor... 08 LTR-450
This skid plate lined up perfectly. The welds were perfect no under cut. This is one nice skid plate and it is light weight and can handle a beating.
