Yoshi makes the perfect pipe for the drz400. As quiet as stock, but lighter, better sound, cool factor and quality. They add everything you need, including spring puller and plug.

THE BOMB

This pipe is just amazing, so easy to install it took about 30 minutes. The power it give to your bike is crazy, feels like a new bike. The design makes you look like a pro my friend. You'll just want to show it to people to show off.....lol.

Bought for 2005 rmz450

this pipe improved the power everywhere, but the most significant gains were in the mid to top end..the bike is quite an animal now. the rmz motor was designed for this power range(mid and top) and the pipe really magnified it...can pull 4th gear wheelies :D and the pipe just looks sick :D i had a 3rd gear wipeout on the exhaust side....and the pipe held up through it, but it was on a sandy, gravel track...but im not sure how durable the CF really is, but its survived great so far!

A: For the Yamaha YZ250f I would recommend the Dr. D exhaust systems. Doug Dubach has more experience with the Yamaha 4 strokes than anyone out there and helped develop the original YZ400f and his been a test rider since. Any of his systems will perform the same but the Titanium systems will be the lightest. I have used his systems exclusively for years on my Yamaha 4-strokes and and always had a great experience with them.

Q: I heard carbon cans crack. How likely would this be to crack?

A: IF you abuse them and don't repack the can as specified in the maintenance section of the manual they can crack. This would typically be as a result of negligence.

A: Carbon does get weak once it gets hot so if you dont stay up on the packing and maintain the exhaust every 8-10 hours it will start to break down. It really depends on what type of riding you are doing though. If it's strictly track racing and you want to save weight, go with carbon. If you do trail riding or all around riding, carbon may not be the best choice.

A: Yes they do, but we don't stock them. We can special order them in, but they can be very expensive. I would look into different exhaust packing such as FMF, as it will be a lot cheaper in the end.
