Yamalube 2R works well in my YZ250

I know there are other options but there something to be said for using what the manufacturer call for. The book calls for 30:1 which is super rich. I bought my bike from a guy who ran 40:1 and I keep moving toward 50:1.

Yamalube Products A+

Yamalube makes Great oils. We have never had an Oil related issue using Yamalube Products. We have used them all. Yamalube 2r is hard to come by. BUT MotoSport always has in stock

Yamalube

Yamalube is the way to go for any of your oil needs no matter what brand bike you ride. The 2S is a great two stroke oil. It doesnt create a bunch of smoke like others.

Great

This oil is great to mix on my yz125. I bought three of them because one pint lasts about 8 gallons if you run the bike at 38:1

Great product. This is all that I ever use in my 2-stroke. Doesn't smoke like others.

A: Yes the Yamalube 2R oil will work great in your YZ125. I always ran 2R at 40:1 in my YZ125s and CR125s (HP2) as well. You shouldn't have any issues.

A: A mixture in the range of 32:1 - 40:1 is generally recommended and is what I would personally run and recommend.

A: You can mix it at whatever ratio you want. The Yamaha manual calls for 30:1. I currently mix mine at 44:1 and it runs better and there's less smoke than the factory spec. I've been told that even 44:1 is super rich compared to what some guys are running.
