Great for 690 Duke

Lightweight, easy to use and tuck away against the wall.
Lift the 2014 690 Duke like a champ.
(Wheels needed lube and front brackets were reversed)
NO complaints.

Nice stands but could be awsome

got the stands today. first thing that struck me was - "using just your fingers"- was a false claim. the hardware was not finger adjustable. the adjustment was made by loosening a hex bolt. got a hex key out and adj the front stand (the back was already on a stand). could not get it to lock onto the bottom of the forks. took a second to realize the pivots were on the wrong sides of the stand.

I flipped the parts around and while I was at it I ground one of the locking shafts down by a mm so the top and bottom bolt holes lined up better. I also had some thumb screws that were the correct size and used those on the locking shafts. the rear stand was easier. just replaced the hex bolts with the thumb screws and lined everything up for easy adjustment.

I think these are well made. they just need a bit more time on the alignment end to get it all to work a bit better. also took out the bushings on the wheels and added some PTFE grease to make the wheels work even better.

oh and did it mention how light they are!

These are now my favorite stands! going to add some delrin pads to keep them looking good!

Q: What spools are recommended to work with this product?

I have a 2007 CBR600RR. I am looking for a set of rear and front stands to put my bike on for maintenance and storage purposes. I am new to the world of stands but I noticed that I would have to also purchase spools to use these stands properly. What are the appropriate spools for this and how many do I need? (i.e. do I need a set of spools for the rear as well as a set of spools for the front?

A: The Custom billet aluminum front stand hardware captures fork bottoms to lift the front and I recommend the Vortex Swingarm Spools for the rear. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: The Vortex Limited Edition Stand Combo is a universal product. Thanks to easy to adjust hardware, each stand has a wide range of applications and uses, and the smooth rolling four-inch wheels allow them to be moved around - even holding a bike - with incredible ease. And yes, spools are required (Note: Spools required, sold separately).

A: I think so. They work on my nephews 2013 Honda CBR 1000 RR ABS. He just loves them because they hold the bike really still so that you don't have to worry the bike is going to fall over.
