Comfort 3/5 Performance 3/5 Sizing - true to size? 4/5 Style 5/5 Weight 4/5

Great style, weight, and comfort with plenty of air flow. A little tight to put on and off. Love the range of vision but seems to be little to no noise reduction. Haven't yet gone much over 100mph with mine yet, but so far there has been no lifting. Wish I had researched better, because I can't yet find spare parts. A mirrored visor would be really nice, but can't even find a replacement clear.

Amazing Helmet

The VEGA PHANTOM greatly exceeded my expectations.
It is so lightweight and has awesome airflow.
Last but not least, my field of vision was
Increased, due to the visor design.
I would recommend this helmet to any and every rider.

Phantom helmet

I got 2 of them for my wife and myself. Very good looking and quality for the price. Very light and comfortable and noise resistant. My only complaint would be that they are tight to put on (hard on ears going over them).

Small opening

The opening to the helmet to put it on is "snug" to put on. Once it is on it is really comfy but taking it off is painful unless i release one of the cheek locks and pull out on the chin straps to get the helmet off. But I really enjoy the style and mobility of the helmet over all.

May I know what is the difference between the quick release and non quick release? And what is the shipping rate for sending to Singapore? Thanks a lot.

A: The quick release would be a buckle style quick click style system compared to the standard D-ring loop and strap style.

Q: Sun shield operation?
How is the interior sun shield brought down and up? There is only a right side product view and I assume the mechanism is on the left of the helmet. Lever, buttons, slide...?

A: The sun shield is operated with a slide lever on the left hand side of the helmet just below where the shield attaches to the helmet. Sliding it forward and back will raise and lower the sun shield.

Q: How safe is the helmet Compared to a full face Helmet??

A: This helmet has passed the DOT and ECE 22.05 Standard for open face helmets. As far as open face helmets go it is considered safe. Compared to a full face helmet though, it will not have the same level of protection in frontal or side impacts due to not having the support from a solid built-in chin bar. It is a personal preference of course on which helmet style you would prefer, but if you are concerned with safety I would highly recommend a full face helmet.
