Need to rejet a 1978 Kawasaki KZ650SR, D. Had it wyoming and now in indiana, deffinately running lean per needing to leave choke partially open to run?
Also the air box has been removed and now uses individual air cleaners. Should I start with the stock jets and settings and where can I find them. About 6000 ft difference in altitude between Wyo. and IN.

Jetting can be very difficult to specify exactly what you will need. It is obvious right now that your bike will be too lean where you are at in Indiana, if the bike came from Wyoming and was jetted properly at that altitude. I did some research on jetting for these bikes and actually found this forum post that has a ton of information for jetting on the KZ650:
Depending what jetting you decide to go with, we do have the jets available on the OEM microfiche here:
If you need other specific sizes or have additional jetting questions please feel free to give us a call.
