Hardline hour meter

I've had this on my bike for 2.5 years now and it has lasted through alot of power washing and a few crashes. It still workes and has yet to fail me. nice hour meter. I would buy it again.

Worked as expected

A must have for anyone who is serious about their maintenance. Allows you to track in hours the time on what ever you want. I use a note book and log the time for just about everything like oil, oil filter, fork and shock oil, air filter, when valves where last checked and so on worth every penny!!

It works

It does its job. My only complaint is that I wish the display was a little larger so it would be easier to see in dark garages. The sticky adhesive on the back works really well, but I put a zip-tie on it to be sure it doesn't come off.

Must have

no guessing on service

Pretty good little piece of gear. Kind of high priced but then again worth every penny. I would recommend spending the extra $4 and get the one with both HR meter & Tachometer.
*one good point is it has stood up well to the entire 2009 season of MX racing. (29 races) and and many more "practice" days - so I can safely say this bike has seen Mr.Pressure washer blasting it well over 50 times.....still working fine!!!

Broke after 2 months and 18 hours

Thought this was a good product untill about 2 months later. The display went nuts and it doesn't work any more. About 18 hours on it when it failed. Would not buy this again!

Good, but...

Worked great but my first one broke after 14 hours, the display just went wacky. And my second one after 24 hours. 3rd one is still working strong. Hardline replace the first too immediately and without question.

Great Product

I will never not use one of these again on my bikes, in the past I always wondered how many hours my bikes had and now I always know.

Great Product, Good Price

I bought one of these to try out. Now I put them on every bike. This is a great product for keeping up with maintenance intervals. A must to prevent DNF's. If your a serious racer, an hour meter is a must have. This product was simple to install. I just stuck it on the frame after cleaning the surface with rubbing alcohol. Install took about 5 minutes. Works great!

Be careful

I purchased the Hardline Hour meter...Have had it on my 08 kx 450F for little over a year and noticed that it does not work any more.. I was up to 40 hours and then half the numbers disappeared. I have talked to Hardline and they said that it could of taken a shock from electrical. Just sucks to spend the money only to have to spend it again. So keep track each time you ride incase this happens to you

Great investment

Excellent product. It does exactly as described and installation couldn't be easier. This product makes maintenance a breeze. No more hourly guesstimates on your top-end, bottom-end, oil, air filter, etc.
This product is a "must-have!".

Hour Meter

Awesome product easy to hook up, this is my third one.

Great buy for new bikes

This hour meter is awesome! Small and compact. I mounted mine on the top fork braces. 3M tape and a small zip tie for reassurance. On my 2007 CRF250R you have to wrap is twice on the bottom of the spark plug and the top. Worked perfectly and hours being recorded.

Works great

A: From what I know they aren't resettable. I would probably just sell it with the bike and pick up a new fresh one for the other bike. You can always contact Hardline for a solid answer. Their number is (805) 581-4700
Q: Does it require the mounts?
I have a 2007 RM250 and was wondering if i just bought this for $40 would i need to buy the mount which is an additional 40 bucks? or how does it stay on the frame?

A: The hour meter includes a pretty generic mounting kit with it, mainly it's just head duty double side tape that will get you by for a little bit. Depending on what mount you get one bolts up under your steering stem bolt, and one bolts up to the upper tank bolt .
