New Style Is Weaker
These new 15-0070 push tubes replaced the old style 15-0001 in 2011 and they are weaker. The rear cross bar is now much smaller, and mine bent the first time I pulled my 60 inch blade up. In addition, they no longer weld the bracket that holds the manual lift arm pivot to the frame. Rather, it is is just a bracket that bolts to the new and smaller cross bracket (the one that bent) and guess what...it bent too under the weight of the blade. Granted, I plow a mile of rough dirt road, but the old style push tube lasted me 5 years before the weld broke. No complaints. The new style, narrower cross bracket, and weaker lift arm pivot bracket lasted one trip.
