Simple/Quality

The bottom line is that these are light, simple and do their job. The guards and the mounts are all plastic and have a decent amount of flex to them. I have "tested them out" by tipping over in turns and even flipping my bike over and to my surprise, haven't snapped the mounts off. Definitely recommended.

Couldn't be happier.

Bought these for my 2012 crf250r and I can't even tell you how durable they are. I wrecked in a rock garden at a woods race and for sure thought it was broke then picked my bike up and it popped right back into place!

Great hand guards

For the money, they are great. I like how they fit and look on my 2007 yz250f. My controls are still very accessible. And I would recommend them for someone that rides trails or the track. Thanks a lot motosport.

Pretty good.

You get what you pay for, and in this case, these arent bad handguards. I prefer the Renthals but these are great, and let a lil more air in to your sweaty hands.

Good buy

Nice set of hand guards I always ran the protaper guards before but when I got my 2013 rmz250 went to get some hand guards and couldn't find them so got the acerbis uniko mx vented one and think there real nice they mount well and for having plastic mounts hold up well when I lay it down they just roll up or down pretty durable. and there nice and sturdy at high speed on the mx track not all flimsy like some other ones and they look good on the bike. over all good set of working hand guards.

Do you get a pair for this price?

Yes, these would be sold as a pair and would included the mounting hardware as well.

Is there any reason these wouldn't fit my 2006 trx450er with pro taper handlebars?
Standard pro taper handlebars.

As long as there is enough room around the control area for the mounts to install these should work with any handlebar. The mount is approximately a half inch wide so not much extra space is required in the control area.

Will these fit 2013 crf 110?
MotoSport Staff Expert

These would work on any bike with 7/8" handlebars really. As long as there is enough room in the control area on the handlebar for the mount to fit you should have no issues mounting these up.

The mounting kit that comes with these will fit any size dirtbike handlebars. The actual area where the controls mount up is 7/8" on all dirtbike handlebars.

Do these fit my 2006 honda trx300ex? I ordered them and just realized they might not fit because of the handlebar plastic that my trx has?

This is really a universal fitment, the mount directly to the bars around the area where the clutch perch / front brake master cylinder would mount up on your handlebars. I would recommend making sure there is enough extra room on the bars for these to mount up.

Will they fit on pro taper bars?
MotoSport Staff
Over 6 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
Yes, these will fit just fine with Pro Taper Bars. They mount near the hand controls where the bars are 7/8" diameter, no matter if they are over size bars or standard bars.

Bars?
Are there the steel or aluminum bars that go behind these guards, for these guards? They are very flimsy and i think they are going to snap.

they come with the plastic mounts and the aluminum mounts are available separately

These guards are all plastic. they are only meant to protect your hands from roost. if you want protection for say trail riding through woods and that, go for bark busters. they do hold up suprisingly well though even though they are all plastic. i dumped my bike a couple times with them on and they didnt break yet
